It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Getting a Mac

I'm so sick of windows, my failing computer and my ancient monitor.

Today I went on my mothers labtop, went on DA and on my page only to find out all my pictures look like shit.
complete shit. Becuase my fricken montitor is so shit! I'm so pissed, I always thinking 'ooo they look okay', but hell no. not even close to okay.
So I'm going to buy a Mac! Becuase I can't even print anything I do...I'm going to have to scan all my pictures in again (or most of them) and fix EVERYTHING >(

The things I've started on the computer might have to wait aswell, witch pisses me off. But I guess I can keep doing watercolor!

No way! Your pics are awesome! They do not, and I quote, "look like complete shit". -raises eyebrow- Besides the screen I used to use killed my eyes for two weeks. I know your probably thinking what the hell? But seriously. It happened. But now I got a Dell PC! And soon I'm gonna get a Sony Laptop! Yayz!
And I'm rambling.....

Cha! They sure as hell do. But, I haven't gotten a new PC for a few years now...and stop saying your pics are crap! Seriously!
They. Are. Not. I know how you feel. I look at my pictures and I can't see what I've drawn on most of them. Some, I'll admit I like. But most of them...they're just crap.
I know what you're feeling. But honestly. A lot, and I mean a lot, of people on deviantART are telling you your pictures are good! And, well, that's good!
